Testimonials for Scottish Equi B&B 4 Star Accommodation, Lanark

“Sarah Keating”

What s fabulous fun weekend we had at the Equi B&B. Great riding lesson and then off out on a hack before a super lunch and then out on another hack with the experienced staff from the stables.
The rooms had everything you need for a comfortable stay and were warm and clean.
All members of staff were so helpful and friendly with lots of local knowledge of the area too.
Breakfast was delicious all freshly prepared in the kitchen - not a horrible rubbery buffet insight!
I would highly recommend this for families or groups and don't worry if you haven't been on a horse you will be in safe hands!

“Lovely equestrian break ”

All the staff were wonderful and friendly, giving the b&b a really homely feeling. Comfy warm room and very clean. Great horses and they really go out of their way to cater for your needs - we had a great lesson and a hack through the stunning scenery on very well behaved neddies. The perfect horsey break for valentines! 🙂

“Home from Home”

So happy to have found this gem. This is MUCH more than a B & B we will certainly be back. We arrived on a very snowy cold day to be met and welcomed with a dram of a particularly nice Whisky Liquor served beside the fire. Our room was spacious and well-appointed with all the usual suspects, tea/coffee tray, flat screen TV and my favourite a proper dressing table with a mirror. Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and cosy. We had soup and crusty bread next to the fire and settled down for the afternoon. The staff are very friendly and attentive and we were also welcomed by the owner who made sure we were happy. The bistro is laid out with sofas and tables to eat at, the food was excellent and we enjoyed the view over the garden to the stable yard. A little gazebo with lights made for a pretty scene when it got dark. We travel with four dogs who stay in their van but there was plenty of areas to exercise and if the weather had been better I am sure a scamper on the racecourse would have added to our stay. Lovely breakfast and a "Haste ye Back". We definitely will be !

“Lovely in Lanark”

Stayed overnight at this B&B and I have to say my husband and I were delighted with the location, price (£70 for bed and a full Scottish breakfast), friendliness of staff, standard of cleanliness and comfort. We stayed as it was local for a party we were attending in Lanark. Well-equipped facilities for a longer stay and for all age groups. Friendly staff who were very welcoming. Double bedroom with ensuite had a nice comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and was spotlessly clean. Ideal to meet our needs. Lovely cuppa with a full Scottish breakfast for the "morning after". A wee stroll around the sensory garden and Lanark Loch to clear the cobwebs and then safe and sound back on our travels home. Would most definitely recommend this as opposed to larger well known hotels or B&B's in the area. We will definitely return. Thanks to all the staff. Hopefully we'll stay a bit longer next time and perhaps go out on a trek? Looked great fun.

“Great overnight stay”

Had a birthday party in new Lanark and found this place by chance, very relaxed no frills but very nice, breakfast was included in the price which was very reasonable and a great selection, host was lovely also, would recommend if you don't mind horses.
